Interested in booking a show at Groove Street?

Here’s the deal…

  • Groove Street is a listening room for ticketed concerts. It is an acoustically “live” room that works best with low volume amplification.

  • You can book yourself or your band as a single act, or as part of a showcase. (Two or more acts will usually draw a bigger crowd.)

  • The front room seats 30-35 people. You set the ticket price. Groove Street has no employees to work the door. A tip jar usually does just fine, but you are welcome to have your own people do the job. You can and should sell your merchandise as well.

  • The house system is a sixteen-channel mixer with powered mains and monitors. Most of the time, there will be someone available to run sound for you. This is determined when selecting a date.

  • Groove Street will have cold drinks available at some point in the future. For now, outside food and beverages are allowed. No Alcohol, please.

  • Groove Street has bills to pay. The goal is to make fifty dollars per event. That doesn’t cover all ongoing expenses, but it helps. The house takes 50% of the first hundred dollars. The performers keep the rest. This way, you don’t end up owing money if a snowstorm kills your show.
